Villarreal have reached an agreement with Castellon goalkeeper Xavi Oliva, the Primera Division club have confirmed.

Oliva has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at El Madrigal, subject to the successful completion of a medical this afternoon, and will be presented tomorrow at 1pm local time.

The 33-year-old has spent the past seven seasons at Castellon, where he won the Trofeo Zamora for the best goalkeeper in his division in 2003 after he only conceded 15 goals.

Oliva had reached an agreement with Castellon to extend his contract but broke the verbal pact to move to the Primera Division.
