Moggi warns Real to curb spending

Former Juventus manager Luciano Moggi thinks Real Madrid should rein in their shopping habits.

Real Madrid have revived their 'Galaticos' policy under President Florentino Perez and they have spent close to £200 million on Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Karim Benzema and Raul Albiol.

"Real Madrid are putting teams all over Europe, not just in Italy, in difficulty with all these signings," Moggi told Radio Montecarlo.

"President Florentino Perez is behaving like a carefree man, but it's better if he manages to contain his enthusiasm a little," Moggi continued.

"He risks conditioning the football world, spending €80-100 million on players is really too much."
