Ziganda all set to lead Xerez
Primera Liga newcomers Xerez have named Jose Angel Ziganda as their new coach.
The 42-year-old Ziganda has agreed a one-year deal with Xerez and replaces Esteban Vigo, who recently left the club after leading them to their first-ever promotion into the top flight last season.
Ziganda, who will be presented by Xerez this morning, was sacked as coach of Osasuna last October following a dreadful start to the season which saw they Pamplona-based side fail to win any of their opening six Primera Division games.
Ziganda had been in charge at the Estadio Reyno de Navarra for two seasons, leading the team to the UEFA Cup semi-finals in 2007.
