Ronald Koeman has urged Barcelona to seal the deal for Inter Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic as soon as possible.

Koeman has tracked the development of Ibrahimovic from his day at Ajax, and is confident that the striker can improve an already great Barcelona squad.

Speaking to Sport, he said, "Since he was young, it was evident that he possessed some extra-ordinary qualities."

"It didn't take long to see that he was too good for the Eredivisie, and would have to move to continue improving."

"He has done exactly that at Inter."

Koeman then elaborated on Ibrahimovic's footballing talent, adding, "He has an excellent physical condition and is a prodigious talent."

"He is one of the most complete forwards in the world."

"He is one of the few who can achieve the impossible."

Koeman also stated what Ibrahimovic would add to Barcelona, saying, "He will contribute a large amount of experience."

"He is used to big games with Inter, could prove the difference in close matches."

"If he comes, [Josep] Guardiola will have an even stronger team."
