Valencia striker Nikola Zigic has confirmed that his future still lies at the Mestalla.

The colossal Serb had been reportedly linked with a move to English soil, with clubs such as Aston Villa, Fulham, Portsmouth, Blackburn and Everton all showing interest.

Speaking to Las Provincias, the 28-year-old has revealed he will stay loyal to Los Che.

"I have rejected all the offers because my desire is to stay with Valencia next season,

"I am very happy to return to the team and I am prepared to demonstrate to the coach that I should be in the team. This is my challenge now,

"I have not personally spoken with the coach but Valencia know my intentions and I will not change my mind."

Zigic has failed to impress at the Mestalla, however, with Fernando Morientes speculated departure looming, Zigic may very well find the position vacant.
