Deportivo coach Miguel Angel Lotina does not fear the new-look Real Madrid side and will tell his team to go for victory.

Real Madrid are the team to watch in Spain as well as in Europe this season after their aggressive transfer policy that has seen the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka join Los Blancos.

But Deportivo coach Miguel Angel Lotina feels his team has nothing to lose.

"There are two ways to go to the Bernabeu - one is to be afraid to lose, and the other is to want to win," Lotina told Marca.

"While the outcome might be the same, we want a team that will go and take the game.

"Real Madrid are a team that always create expectations, more so this year with who they have bought. For me, this year's team is the best [Real have had] for years."

While los Blancos may be much stronger, the former Real Sociedad coach believes that Barcelona are still favourites for the title.

"Barcelona have the advantage of playing from memory. They work more than anyone else in Spain, both in defence and attack, and play equally with whichever player," Lotina stated.
