Getafe have swooped for defender Miguel Torres from local rivals Real Madrid.

Although Getafe gave no details of the deal save that Torres will be presented at midday local time Tuesday, Spanish media report that the 23-year-old has agreed a five-year deal and will cost 2million euros.

Locally-born Torres came up through the youth ranks at Madrid and made his senior debut during the 2006/07 season. He helped Real win back-to-back titles in 2007 and 2008, playing 38 matches in the process.
