Atletico Madrid's Juanito believes that the only way to win back the fans is to simply start winning games.

Referring to the fans' planned protest at the Vicente Calderon before the match against Racing Santander, he believed the supporters were not to blame.

Speaking to Marca, Juanito said: "The fans have a right to demonstrate.

"But we must stand aside and concentrate on football.

"We are all on the same side and on the pitch we will try to do our best. The fans just want the team to win every Sunday. If we do that they will be right behind us."

The 33-year-old reckons that a victory would change the attitude of the Atletico Madrid players as well.

"Usually everything is fixed with a quick victory.

"You always want another game to come quickly to reverse the loss. We look forward to getting a win [against Racing] on Saturday," Juanito added.
