Promising Georgian attacking midfielder Giorgi Chanturia has joined European and Spanish champions Barcelona.

Barca first spotted the 16-year-old three-years ago during an international tournament.

The Catalan giants have been keeping close tabs on him, and he enjoyed a trial stint with the club's junior side in the summer.

Clubs from England and Germany had begun to show an interest, but Barca have now moved to secure his signature after agreeing a deal with his club Vake Tiblisi.
