Marcos Senna's injury woes continued after tests revealed the Villarreal midfielder will be out of action for nearly a month.

The 33-year-old made his comeback in the first game of the season after being sidelined for five months with a muscle problem.

However, he was forced off after only 26 minutes against Osasuna with a leg injury.

Senna nevertheless joined up with the Spain squad but tests carried out on his return from international duty have ruled him out for "two to three weeks", according to a statement on www.villarrealcf.es.
