Ivan de la Pena and Carlos Kameni are a doubt for Espanyol’s key game against Deportivo La Coruna this weekend.

Spanish daily Marca is reporting that Kamani pulled out of training early Tuesday due to a calf problem. The Cameroonian goalie was not able to participate in normal training, and was told to join an increasing group of walking wounded.

However, Espanyol can expect Raul Tamudo and David Garcia back, while Shunsuke Nakamura should be ready for action after recovering from a sprained ankle.

The diagnosis for Periquitos captain Ivan de la Pena is not good though, as his right leg muscular injury has not recovered on schedule. He is undergoing rehabilitation, and will definitely not feature this weekend.

Further medical examinations will be conducted for de la Pena in the next few days.
