Michel demands for better Getafe focus
Getafe coach Michel has called for his side to have better concentration for their upcoming match against Valencia.
Michel believes his players are still hung up on their opening day success, where they trounced Racing Santander 4-1.
Getafe's results since them, however, have been unfavourable - they lost to both Barcelona and Almeria.
Speaking to AS, he said: "We had a bad day at Almeria, we will try to change that with different players and also the mentality.
"We cannot live all season on that day at Santander and one of the things I emphasise to the group is that we cannot return to the fundamental mistakes of last season.
"We feel good but we must improve the concentration. Valencia are a very big club with great players.
"They have a great counterattack, players with mobility and precision like [David] Villa who who you cannot plan for.
"I have a plan to try and stop them but I would not take a draw. I would not be a sports coach if I didn't try to win at home," Michel concluded.
