Pep Guardiola breathed a sigh of relief after Barcelona came out of their match against Malaga with a 2-0 victory.

Zlatan ibrahimovic and Gerard Pique scored for Barca in the game.

Speaking to Sport, Guardiola said, "I want to congratulate this team more than after any other game."

"It is a very valuable win. We were going to play Ibrahimovic at some point.

"It worked out fine in the end.

"He unlocks tight situations, is a bonus in the air, and works hard without the ball.

Guardiola then looked ahead to the Champions League clash in midweek, continuing, "We will see how we recover."

"Malaga are a very battle hardened team, very physical and well organised.

"These games are invaluable."
