Diarra: It is impossible to fail
Mahamadou Diarra exclaimed that the current Real Madrid side has the right qualities to win trophies.
The Malian midfielder who returned to action against Sevilla at the weekend after an eight-month absence due to injury was happy with his contributions despite his side losing the game.
He told AS, "Despite the intensity of the encounter, I had no problems adapting. My knee is in perfect condition. The Sevilla game was the perfect test to see if it was healed. I feel stronger than before and even younger,"
He went on to declare that Madrid will not allow the minor setback of losing to Sevilla affect their goal for the season.
"We can take something positive from what happened on Sunday. Surely this setback will push us to do better. As they say: A great team never loses two games in a row and we are a great team,
"With a team of less means we won two league titles in a row so now with this fantastic group it is impossible to fail."
After suffering their first loss of the season in the Primera Liga, Madrid are now three points behind league leaders, Barcelona.
