Pedro Rodriguez Ledesma has insisted Barcelona's 0-0 draw at Valencia was a positive result.

The 22-year-old winger told Barca's official website that he felt the point was well-earned as Valencia provided them with a tough game.

The draw ended Barca's 100% start to the season and could have lost if not for Victor Valdes' display between the sticks.

"We had to work very hard to find a way into the game," Pedro was quoted as saying by the club's official website.

"We also knew it would be difficult to win here. The point must be seen as positive.

"Now we have to continue working."
