Reports from Spain has suggested Espanyol are planning to open their cheque book during the January transfer window.

According to Sport, former club captain Raul Tamudo looks to be on his way out of the club and Espanyol will be hoping to use his transfer funds to buy two new players.

A new striker could be on top of Espanyol coach Mauricio Pochettino's must-buy list while reports also indicate he would also want a midfielder.
