Sergio Aguero is hoping that new Atletico Madrid coach, Quique Sanchez Flores can bring glory to the club.

Flores took over from Abel Resino after Atletico started the season poorly.

Star striker, Aguero who himself has suffered a loss of form is confident that things will improve under Flores' tenure.

He told AS, "We are very happy with him, and we hope that we can play a good match this weekend,

"It's too soon to see any substantial changes between him and Abel [Resino]. Each coach has his own methods. Abel worked very hard but the results didn't come, we hope that they will arrive with Quique."

Aguero also commented on Real Madrid's shocking 4-0 loss to Alcorcon in the Copa del Rey.

He said: "I didn't feel anything on seeing it. They played badly, but I think that they will progress. I am concerned with my team, and they are concerned with theirs."
