Tomas Ujfalusi has stressed that Atletico Madrid need to defend as a team, and not depend on individuals to come up with stops.

The Atletico defender added that communication would be key in taking Los Colchoneros to the next level in terms of stopping their opponent from scoring.

"Everyone has to defend not only four or five players. We have a lack of concentration in the first few minutes of games and that made us lose games. We need to talk more between us," the Czech defender told Marca.

Ujfalusi did add that Atletico should be expecting a "tough game" when they take on Athletic Bilbao and must defend stoutly while looking for chances to hit their opponents on the counter.

The 31-year-old stated that Quique Flores will need time to evaluate and find a way for Atletico to succeed, and that he will play "wherever the coach wants".

"The difference will not be noticed until in the future," Ujfalusi confirmed.
