Cristiano Ronaldo has told a German paper that he would be willing to pay more than £80million to sign himself.

The Real Madrid striker told Bild that he is also not disturbed by his hefty price-tag. Real paid Manchester United £80m to prise him away from Old Trafford after a protracted transfer chase.

"Of course. Even for more money. Of course I would buy myself," Ronaldo said in an interview with German newspaper Bild

"The pressure [of being the world's most expensive player] doesn't change either my character or my style."

"What we need at the moment are victories and good matches with the players that are already here. I don't know what will happen next year."
