Quique Sanchez Flores believes he can turn Atletico Madrid’s fortunes around, despite their 1-0 loss to Athletic Bilbao over the weekend.

"In the first half, we had difficulty in keeping the ball," Sanchez Flores said to Marca after the game.

"But in the second, we dominated and had chances. Football is like that, and we cannot complain."

"When we arrived, we knew it would be a tough environment. We know the situation, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

"As soon as we get a win we will be on our way."
