Guardiola: We are better this year
Pep Guardiola has rubbished reports that Barcelona are weaker this year after their stalemates against Osasuna and Rubin Kazan.
"In many ways, we are a better team than last year," Guardiola declared to Sport.
"We're also in danger of not qualifying for the knockout round [in the Champions League], right?" the La Blaugrana coach mused.
"If we are out after the two remaining games, it's our fault. But if we overcome that, I'm convinced it will make us stronger."
Barca have been anemic in front of goal recently, scoring only three goals in their last four away games, with two goals coming against lower league Cultural Leonesa in the Copa del Rey.
Guardiola is not worried about the low goal count, though.
"They will come. What's important is creating chances."
The Barca coach said that he was "very happy" with what Zlatan Ibrahimovic brings to the team, while refuting reports of a bust-up with Lionel Messi.
