
Real players: Win for pride
Various Real Madrid players are doing their best to rally the troops ahead of their second leg Copa del Rey tie against Alcorcon.
Real Madrid lost the first leg 4-0 in a dismal showing by Manuel Pellegrini's men.
Kaka has urged his team-mates to bring their best to the game, saying: "for pride and for the history of Real Madrid, we have to win this tie".
This has been followed by numerous Los Merengues' players speaking to the media as well, with Marcelo and Jerzy Dudek declaring to the Real Madrid official website: "for our badge and our shirt, we will not fail."
"We cannot fail [the fans] - we will succeed for this club," Pepe proclaimed, while Ezequiel Garay, his potential defensive partner, added that "the Bernabeu will be the 12th man".
Esteban Granero has proclaimed that Los Blancos are "obliged to overcome" Alcorcon, and has guaranteed that Real "will not fail".
Gonzalo Higuain has wagered that Real Madrid will make it to the next round of the Copa, saying that they "owe it to the fans".
