Guti keen on Inter switch

Real Madrid midfielder Guti could be on his way to Serie A champions Inter Milan acording to Italian press reports.

The 33-year-old Spaniard has spent all of his career at the Bernabeu, but has been increasingly marginalised under new coach Manuel Pellegrini this year and is now believed to want out.

According to Sportmediaset.it the Real player has even called up former Blancos team-mate Wesley Sneijder to help him engineer a move to the Italian giants.

Guti is reported to have asked the Dutchman to talk to Inter president Massimo Moratti, who has previously shown an interest in the Spaniard, about the transfer situation at the club.

However, contrary voices have been aired, suggesting that Inter coach Jose Mourinho is not keen on bringing in a player of Guti's age.

Neither side have commented on the press report but the news is unlikely to sit well with Pellegrini who is going through a tough period at Real as results and performances have been below par so far this season.
