Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has congratulated his team on their Copa del Rey victory over Cultural Leonesa.

The champions cantered to a five goal win at the Camp Nou thanks to a brace from youngster Bojan Krkic and one each from Pedro, Lionel Messi and Xavi, securing a 7-0 aggregate victory in the process.

Speaking at a post-match press conference Guardiola said "I congratulate the team because this is the way forward. After the break we had a little more rhythm, speed and better movement of the ball. The goals helped us to relax a little.

The young manager also went on to praise the contribution of two goal hero Bojan Krkic who is gradually returning to his best after injury.

"I am very happy for him, especially the first goal because he is a player who can get in there, where he scored.

"He will do well and should continue his efforts. Not only for the goals, I want the most out of him because you need them. He is valued by the club and the team," he added.

Barcelona go into the international break with a two point cushion at the top of La Liga and still in contention for making the last 16 of the Champions League.
