Kaka: Messi the likely choice
Brazilian ace, Kaka, reckons Lionel Messi, will be crowned FIFA World Player of the Year.
Kaka who plays for archrivals, Real Madrid has tipped the Argentine forward to win the prestigious award that will be announced on December 21.
Speaking to Marca, Kaka said: "I think it is probably for Messi won everything with Barcelona last year,"
The Brazilian wizard who edged out Messi for the award last year knows what it takes to win it and prefers to focus on the task at hand rather than picking up individual awards this season.
"You must have a good year with your club and national team. Next year it will be chosen from those who do well at the World Cup. My goal is that Brazil finishes as champion and then let's think about individual awards."
Messi finished second in the poll for two consecutive seasons, with Cristiano Ronaldo taking it two years ago before Kaka won it last time out.
