David Silva has rubbished reports about a move away from Valencia by declaring that his focus is on Los Che and on Spain.

Silva has been linked continually with a move to Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United, but the playmaker is adamant that his attention is on the situation at hand.

"The fact is that for years and in summer there has been talk about many things but right now I'm totally focused on Spain and on my team," he said in a press conference.

"We must go slowly and not assume the tag of favourites. We know we're in a good time but you have to go with humility and calmly, that is how winning things is achieved.

"We hope not to go to the World Cup as favourites."
