Barcelona defeder Gabriel Milito will not return to Real Zaragoza, said his agent Eduardo Gamarnik.

Milito has not had a chance to shine for the Catalans after he was out of action due to a long-term injury. He has so far played just 27 games for Barca since his move in 2007.

Zaragaza, whom the Argentine played for four seasons, had asked about his availability.

"Yes, Zaragoza asked if there is the possibility of a transfer," Milito's agent Eduardo Gamarnik told RAC 1.

"But Guardiola is counting on him for this season and is sure he'll be fine."
