Agent: Rossi not moving in January
Andrea Pastorello, Giuseppe Rossi’s agent, has declared that his client will not be moving anywhere, least of all Juventus, until the offseason.
Rossi has been monitored by a host of European giants, but a winter transfer window move is not on the cards as the striker is concentrating on securing his World Cup objective. A move in the summer has not been ruled out though.
"We will look at all the situations, including ones in Spain," Pastorello told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
"He is hoping to be picked by Marcello Lippi. Players like Rossi usually move in the summer - I don't think anything will happen in January."
Rossi was reportedly part of a cash plus player transfer last summer, but the move never materialised.
"We have not received contact from Italian teams. Juventus, like other teams have doubts, look at the [David] Trezeguet situation in the summer for example," concluded the agent.
