Toure to seek greener pastures

Toure to seek greener pastures

Yaya Toure’s agent has publicly announced that his client is ready to consider his future with Barcelona.

The Catalan midfielder is apparently not pleased with the lack playing time that he has been allocated.

Speaking to Sport, Dimitri Seluk said, "We aren't happy - he isn't playing and it's strange that he's not getting minutes. Barca cannot let themselves be without a player like Toure."

The Ivory Coast midfielder is ready to listen to offers if the situation remains unfavourable in the near future.

The agent continued to voice his displeasure on his client's behalf:

"I don't know if we will continue with Barca or not, but it won't be on the bench.

"If a team like Manchester City or Chelsea comes in, we will be ready to negotiate," he concluded.

It was not too long ago that City had registered their interest in the 24-year old only to be brushed aside, however recent events seemed to have caused a change of heart.

It will be highly unlikely that Toure secures a transfer in January due to the African Cup of Nations taking place then.

But, City and Chelsea are not with competitors with Serie A leaders also vying for the midfielder's signature.
