Barcelona were right to invest in Brazilians Henrique and Keirrison, says Barca president Joan Laporta.

Keirrison had been loaned out to Benifca after allowing to Barcelona while Henrique was on-loan at Bayer Leverkusen lasty season before joining Racing Santander on-loan this season.

Neither have managed to make it at Barca, but Laporta insists they were right to buy both players over the last 18 months.

"The first (Henrique) succeeded in Germany, the second everyone in Europe wanted," said Laporta. "These are two players who have not proved failures."
