Kaka: Champions League a priority

Real Madrid and Brazil midfielder Kaka has admitted that Champions League victory means more to him than the La Liga title.

This season's final is scheduled to be played at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, Madrid's home ground which makes it all the more enticing for Manuel Pellegrini's men.

Speaking to AS, the 27 year old said: "It would be a dream [to win the final at the Bernabeu].

"We will do everything to be there. I'd rather win the Champions League, it is the most important tournament. "

The Spanish giants are in the hunt for a tenth European title this seaons and have made winning it a top priority.

Kaka also spoke of the club's rivalry with Catalan club Barcelona, saying that despite losing the clash between the two sides at Camp Nou in November, Madrid showed they were a match for their arch-rivals.

"Everyone says they're the best team [Barcelona], but we could have won. The team grew in that game," he said.
