Rising starlet Sergio Canales, who has been linked with Real Madrid and Manchester United, wants to stay at Racing Santander.

Canales is the hottest property in Spain after his impressive displays for his club which included scoring a brace against Sevilla last weekend.

Interested clubs were alerted to the 18-year-old after reports indicated his current contract will expire this summer.

Among the clubs interested are Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona while English giants Manchester United and Chelsea are also reportedly knocking on the door as well.

Canales has admitted to feeling flattered with the attention but according to Marca, the 18-year-old said his current team are the only side on his mind right now.

"Right now my preference is for Racing. They are the ones who have given me the confidence to play and make my debut at 18-years-old. Without ruling out anything, in the situation that I am in, I'm happy here," Canales was quoted in Marca.
