Barcelona midfielder Xavi is the latest to join the speculation around Cesc Fabregas' potential move to Barcelona.

There has been a spate of rumours in recent days in the Spanish media, saying that Barcelona have reached a verbal agreement with the mercurial midfielder to move to the Nou Camp in the summer.

Both Barcelona and Fabregas have strenuously denied these reports. Irrespective of the truth Xavi is adamant that Fabregas would fit in perfectly in the Catalan side.

In an interview with Marca, Xavi said "Cesc is part of Barcelona's DNA. He would adapt perfectly to the club and the team. He is a fantastic player."

"He left here, but clearly he can return."

Whether the Spaniard ultimately moves to the Nou Camp in the summer or not, it is clear that everyone at Barcelona would love to have him there.
