Spanish champions Barcelona have reportedly signed a 13-year-old South Korean wonderkid on a five-year contract.

Continuing Pep Guardiola's youth policy, the Catalan giants have snapped up South Korean starlet Park Sheng-ho amid huge interest from other European clubs - including Real Madrid.

According to Spanish reports, the 13-year-old is regarded as one of the most promising prospects in world football and Barca managed to sign him up ahead of bitter rivals Real.

Park has already been labeled 'the Korean Messi' and had impressed observers during a youth tournament in 2009.

He is now set to join up with the famed Barca academy, having impressed the club's coaches during a recent visit to Catalunya.
