Guardiola says no to Robinho
Pep Guardiola may have quashed Robinho's Barcelona hopes after revealing he is not interested in signing the Brazilian.
The want-away Manchester City player has recently expressed his reluctance in returning to the Eastlands as his Santos loan deal expires on 4 August. Instead, he has set his sights on a move to the La Liga champions.
According to a report in Sport, the Catalan club have decided against the signing of the Brazilian this summer as Guardiola has no need for the former Real Madrid player.
The Barcelona coach is known to be a keen admirer of the Robinho but is reportedly disgusted with the striker's behavior off the pitch - which explains his change of heart.
Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if Robinho will return for Manchester City's pre-season training as they prepare for another assault in the Premier League.
But manager Roberto Mancini reportedly view the Brazilian as dispensable and has been ordered to cash in on him if a reasonable offer comes in.
