Ronaldo: Mourinho makes us happy
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo said the players at the club are happier under the leadership of Jose Mourinho.
The Special One took over the reign at the Santiago Bernabeu during the summer and has enjoyed an unbeaten start to the La Liga season and a perfect record in the Champions League, where they beat AC Milan 2-0 in their last match on Tuesday.
Ronaldo, who scored with a free-kick in the win against Milan, is enjoying every single moment working under Mourinho and expressed his ambition of winning the Champions League with his compatriot.
"With Mourinho, everyone is happier. When things do not run well it is normal for people to feel sad, but this season things are going great. I thank God that everything is going well.
"Mourinho is fantastic. I am thankful that he came here because with his experience and with all the titles he has won, it is good to work with him. I always said I wanted him to train me, and my colleagues are also delighted to work with him. I hope we win the Champions League."
The former World Player of the Year concluded by urging his team to maintain their winning ways as they seek to deliver some silverware to the club.
"The most important thing is to win. The match against Milan [in the Champions League] was a difficult test, and we have shown that we are moving in the right direction. Both the coach and I are very happy."
Ronaldo has been firing on all cylinders for Madrid this season, scoring six goals in ten games.
