Atletico Madrid Diego Simeone has urged his team to conrinue improving after the 0-0 draw against Valencia on Sunday.

The result meant that Atletico Madrid are yet to concede a goal since Simeone took over at the club last December.

The former Los Che midfielder praised his players for earning a well-deserved point against tough opponents but also urged them to be improve in terms of attack.

Speaking after the press conference, he said: "We have to keep improving. The team is fine in being aggressive, but today [Sunday] we weren't accurate enough. We lacked clarity in the final third.

"We were very close to taking the points. I'm glad we were very close to winning. We played against a strong and complicated opponent.

"Valencia changed their game against us. In the first half, without being good, we had two chances. In the second, we played a little better in Valencia's half and we created a few clear chances."

Atletico Madrid's recent revival meant that they are now seventh in La Liga, just two points off fourth-placed Levante.
