Barca issue Ronni warning

Barcelona have said they will only sell Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho for the right price and not on the cheap.

Josep Guardiola is looking ahead to the new season after taking over from Frank Rijkaard but Ronaldinho does not figure in his plans.

Barca are ready to listen to offers but insist they will not let him go at a discount.

"Ronaldinho is a player of great value and we will only sell if we get a proper price," vice president Ferran Soriano told reporters.

"If we don't get it, he won't go."

Manchester City have been tracking Ronaldinho since the end of last season and are believed to have held discussions with the player's representatives on at least one occasion.

A deal is thought to have been agreed but it is unclear whether the 28-year-old would prefer to move elsewhere.

Milan have previously admitted their interest in Ronaldinho but only for a 'reasonable' price.
