Robinho looks for house in London

According to the Spanish press, Robinho has sent agent Wagner Ribeiro to London on a house-finding mission.

Robinho is in pre-season training with the Real Madrid side, and reportedly signed a new five-year deal with the Spanish champions earlier in the week, but he still appears to be keeping the option of a Chelsea move open.

Along with simply house-hunting, Ribeiro is said to be planning to meet with Chelsea representatives on the London trip, a move which suggests a move to the Blues may be imminent.

Robinho has told his agent to keep him up-to-date on the developments of the trip.

The contract negotiations surrounding Robinho's new Real deal were reportedly fierce, especially as the player was told he may be used as a 'bargaining chip' in the Cristiano Ronaldo saga.

The Spanish club has also tried to prevent the player from joining the Brazil Olympic team, which his agent says brought the 24-year-old to tears.
