Quaresma ignites Inter comeback
Ricardo Quaresma had a ball of a time in his friendly debut against Locarno, helping Inter to a draw after going 2-0 down.
Quaresma made his debut for the Nerazzurri and charmed the crowd with his skill and trickery. The same could not be said of his team as Inter's porous defence for the night let in two goals before the Portuguese winger created both goals to draw against the Swiss second division side.
The wing wizard assisted Ivan Cordoba for Inter's first goal, and then kicked off the move that directly led to a penalty that was slotted home by striker Julio Cruz. Quaresma was bombing down the flanks, beating his men repeatedly and even attempted his patented trivela shot.
Patrick Vieira, Walter Samuel and Olivier Dacourt, along with Cordoba made their debut for the season after injury, a big plus for Nerazzurri boss Jose Mourinho as he prepares for his next Serie A fixture against Catania.
