Hamsik wants Napoli stay

Napoli's talented midfielder, Marek Hamsik, loves the club and city of Naples too much to think of joining Inter.

Hamsik's club has made a blistering start to the Serie A season and have 11 points from their first six matches.

The playmaker's passing ability and vision has been spotted as he has looked the most impressive player in the Napoli team so far and has three goals to his name.

Rumours that Jose Mourinho's Internazionale are preparing a bid to take him to Milan in January has been put down by Hamsik himself who claims that the special bond he has with the club and fans will make it hard to leave.

"For the moment all the news I have learned is through the papers," he told Planet Napoli. "I have never had any direct contant with these teams that are associated with my name.

"Is the temptation too great? If you say so. I'm fine in Naples, it's a great city and a very strong team, a company that has serious ambitions to do well. I don't consider other destinations, winning in Naples is unlike anything else," explained Hamisk.

Whether Hamsik stays at Napoli will depend on how much money is on offer and if a mammoth bid comes in from one of Europe's bigger clubs, Napoli might be forced to sell the playmaker.
