Zlatan Ibrahimovic has denied suggestions he signed a contract extension with Internazionale last week.

Reports in Italy claimed the Sweden striker had penned a new deal with the Italian champions.

"I have a contract with Inter until June 2013," said Ibrahimovic on the club's official website. "But I did not renew my contract last week, I signed it last year."

The 26-year-old joined Inter in the summer of 2006 from Juventus and is currently the Nerazzurri's top scorer with five league goals.
