Pato not suffering from fracture
Alexandre Pato has not suffered a rib fracture as previously feared after the AC Milan striker went for X-rays.
He collided with goalkeeper Marco Amelia and he was unable to continue Sunday night's game. Before that, the Brazilian had already received treatment for a knock to the ribcage.“He has just undergone further tests that have excluded fractures to the ribs,” explained doctor Massimo Manara.
The chief medic also gave an update on the Rossoneri's other players on the treatment table at the moment.
“Massimo Ambrosini trained separately today as he has a slight pain in his triceps, while Daniele Bonera has a groin twinge and rested as a precautionary measure.
“Marco Borriello had a problem with the right thigh muscle and will be re-evaluated in tests over the next few days.
“Sandro Nesta is continuing his treatment and tomorrow will be joined by our physiotherapist Bill Tillson to begin even more specific work on his back.”
