Diego: I'm not going anywhere

Juventus target Diego will not be leaving for the Serie A, after professing his love for his current club Werder Bremen.

The Brazil international has always been linked with a transfer to the Turin giants. And with Pavel Nedved set to hang up his boots in the summer, Juventus are looking to Diego to replace him.

But the 24-year-old insists he loves Werder Bremen more than any other clubs in the world. Diego signed for the Bundesliga outfit in 2006 after a disappointing two-year stint with Porto.

"It's always wonderful to find close those who love you," Diego said of Werder Bremen. "Being far from Brazil, I have never felt alone here.

"The fans have always been very affectionate towards me and I continue to receive a mountain of such guarantees."

"I should thank them every day for their affection and all the opportunities that I find in my life," he said. "I hope that my 24th year brings with it many personal and professional goals."
