Toldo extends Inter deal
Internazionale veteran goalkeeper Francesco Toldo has signed a two-year contract extension.
The 37-year-old, whose previous deal ended this summer, will remain with Inter through to June 2011.
"It´s a matter of great pride to know that at 37 it is a record for an Inter goalkeeper to renew his contract for a further two years," said Toldo on the club´s official website, www.inter.it.
"I want to thank the club for handing me a sign of trust and respect and I will continue to repay them as I have always done.
"The team makes me feel important every day, young and especially a winner at Inter."
The former Italy international joined Inter in the summer of 2001 from Fiorentina and has been Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar´s understudy since 2005.
Inter have won the last three Serie A titles and are leading the league this season - seven points clear of second-placed Juventus with 12 games remaining.
