Roma's Totti slams Inter's Balotelli
Roma captain Francsco Totti has hit out at the "ugly behaviour" of Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli last weekend.
The highly-rated teenage striker did not win any fans in the Roma squad during Sunday's 3-3 draw at the San Siro.
After scoring for his side, Balotelli ran towards the visiting section and put his index finger to his lips as if to tell the Giallorossi supporters to hush.
Totti said: "We cannot tolerate that a young footballer like Balotelli, who has great technical and physical ability, should have such an ugly behaviour towards rivals and fans.
"I don't think Balotelli is behaving in the right manner.
"If at 18, I would have had the same approach as Balotelli, my team-mates would have kicked me in the back, my coach at the time would have slapped me in the face and the rest I would have received from my parents back home.
"Perhaps today, it's a different football, there is a different way of educating youngsters."
Balotelli has even angered his coach Jose Mourinho with his petulance earlier this season.
However, Mourinho did not appear unhappy with the 18-year-old on Sunday when he struck a brace, the second a penalty earned and converted by the Italy Under-21 star.
"Mario was intelligent in getting between two Roma players and earning that penalty," said Mourinho."I am pleased with his performance."
