Juventus to play behind closed doors

Juventus will have to play against Lecce behind closed doors on May 3 due to racist chants aimed at Mario Balotelli.

Juve coach Claudio Ranieri has told reporters that their "legal team is weighing things up" in the wake of the ban and he continued to say that the ban is ‘unjust'.

"It hasn't been a regular problem, we are talking about one game. It is unacceptable behaviour, which Italy can't seem to shake off," he told reporters.

"I am close to Balotelli and I am very saddened by what happened, but I reiterate that it is right to appeal."
