Ancelotti: All thanks to Kaka

Ancelotti: All thanks to Kaka

Kaka's awe-inspiring display against Palermo has prompted Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti to heap more praise on the Brazilian.

Milan are now clear in second-place after their 3-0 win over Palermo after Kaka scored two penalties.

It was a fourth consecutive victory that - coupled with Juventus' 2-2 draw at Reggina - sends Milan two points clear in second place.

According to channelfour.com, Ancelotti has highlighted the importance of Kaka after the team struggled without the influential Brazilian.

The Milan coach is now confident his team can make up for lost ground in the league with Kaka leading from the front.

But Ancelotti has laughed off talk of a late Scudetto bid.

"No, we are only trying to stay ahead of fourth, where we have a nine-point advantage."

Alexandre Pato was out injured, but still Ronaldinho was left on the bench until the final stages.

"It was the right decision to sign him, he did very well in the first half of the season and then wavered because of the injury and the fact he wasn't playing consistently. After that, it's down to me to make the choices."
