Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi's proposed move to Juventus is proving difficult, according to the player's agent Eduardo Rosetto.

"It is difficult. It is not an easy negotiation. I don't know whether the Juventus interest will increase or it will die before being born," Rosetto told TyC Sports cable channel.

"There is a special ingredient that is the rivalry between northern and southern teams and Lavezzi is an icon in Napoli.

"If I had to guess, I would say Napoli would find it politically better to negotiate Lavezzi to a club outside Italy."

Lavezzi, who took gold at the Beijing Olympics with Argentina last year, has a contract at Napoli until 2013.
