Spalletti fears for job
Roma coach Luciano Spalletti feels he could be out of a job come the end of the season after a poor campaign for the Giallorossi.
Roma have lost three of their past five matches, shipping four goals on each occasion, and, although they still occupy sixth spot and the last Europa League qualifying berth, they are now only three points above Cagliari and Palermo, while they are six off a Champions League spot.
And Spalletti acknowledges his future is very much up in the air and said: "I've already met up with (president) Dr (Rosella) Sensi a while back. I'll meet up with her again at the end of the season and then we will weigh everything up."
He added: "We'll do the sums on the whole year's work. That's how it's done as in any company. We have to evaluate things, see who's responsible and act accordingly.
"Something has changed in the sense that before we were getting better results and now worse and that pushes things into an environment in which the fans are the driving force.
"The club have not told me they don't have confidence in me like they used to."
Spalletti has been linked with a move to either AC Milan or Juventus despite both clubs' insistence they are not thinking of bringing in a new coach in the summer.
